NEW RELEASE: RAG’N’BONE MAN – “What Do You Believe In?” – Deep, hard & introspective.

Dear melomaniac, the British singer Rag’n’Bone Man has launched a new disc called “What Do You Believe In?”. Following the great success of Human (2017) and Life by Misadventure (2021), Rag’n’Bone Man takes its music up a notch by launching this new album, much deeper than the previous ones, in “What Do You Believe In?” he attacks subjects like death, loss and the eternal question – where do people go after they die?

The whole concept of the new album comes from Rag’n’Bone Man’s recent loss of his mother and the challenge of being a father. By his true name, Rory Charles Graham was born in East Sussex, United Kingdom. We all know him by the mega-hit “Human” launched in 2016.

As I said before, the concept behind “What Do You Believe In?” started when he lost his mother and suddenly, he found himself in the position of explaining this event to his young son. How do you explain death to a small child? Indeed, this is a delicate situation, it is that tricky moment when an unspoiled being finds the truth about life, especially that it is not forever. On the other hand, Rag’n’Bone Man has asked himself where do people go after they die? What do we all believe about this?

Here are his own words about this album:

“I wrote this after losing someone close. Now, having to explain something like that to your child is a bit weird. I’ve never been involved with religion, but the question you get asked is: where do people go? And that’s what the song is about. It doesn’t really matter what people believe in, you can believe that they’ve gone to a better place.”

So, his conclusion is all about hope, he hopes that we all go to a better place. Of course, this is a vast subject for which we will need more than one page to try and clarify, but I do invite you to listen to this disc and to find this hope that Rag’n’Bone Man included inside.

So, give it a chance, give it a go, have a listen!
