An Open Sounding Closed Back Headphone – SJY Horizon Closed Carbon Review

If there’s a quest that headphone manufacturers haven’t quite completed with flying colors at a reasonable price, it’s the quest for the perfect closed-back headphone. Over the past 30 years, I’ve tried dozens of closed-back models, and only two of them were truly fantastic. However, those cost over $3,000, and recommending such pricey headphones with limited usage isn’t always easy.

There’s one guy, however, who not only released a pair of great-sounding closed-back headphones at a reasonable price but also exceeded my expectations in terms of tonal balance and technical performance.
