Chasing the best sound on the go has always been a personal goal of mine. I thought I had achieved it when the Walkman was invented back when I was a kid. Then CD players came along, and suddenly I was hearing new details emerging from music I already knew.
When the iPod was revealed in the 2000s, I could finally travel with my entire music collection in my pocket. Later, when proper DAPs (digital audio players) with dedicated electronics entered the scene, I was convinced they would conquer the world. Ironically, the opposite happened; they nearly faded into the history books.
This pursuit may no longer be the goal of the new generation, but it has never faded for me. After trying almost every DAP out there, my expectations for the next best thing kept climbing higher and higher. Yet the DAP I’m presenting today has blown away all of my expectations. I truly believe it is the finest-sounding DAP available today, for the reasons explained in the video.
