With its impressive feature set, the UHD8000 functions as a dedicated DAC, preamp, wired and wireless streamer, Roon endpoint, music server, Bluetooth receiver, and advanced video player, supporting up to 8K resolution and major HDR standards like HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Unlike the Zidoo NEO Alpha, which we reviewed a year ago, the UHD8000 offers a more affordable price point of $1500 while introducing several key improvements, which I’ll discuss in detail shortly.
