Welcome back, everyone! Today we’ll be taking a closer look at the smallest DAC / headamp / Bluetooth receiver combo we have tried thus far. The most intriguing aspect of the unit is the ECC82 double-triode which is always engaged regardless of its working mode. Despite its charming appearance, it can deliver a remarkable amount of power, even for a few planar headphones. Additionally, if you use powered speakers, it can act as a DAC and preamp combo, adding some tube flavor into the mix. However, upon careful consideration, we did uncover a few issues, so let’s dive into it.
