Dear reader, our Danish friends from Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries, legendary known as DALI, are launching a new high-end speaker series called the EPIKORE. The series comprises of DALI EPIKORE 3 stand-mount and EPIKORE 7 and 9 floorstanders. These new series aim to blend the popularity of the previous EPICON series, mixed with flagship flavor from the KORE series. The result is simple: EPIKON + KORE = EPIKORE.
As you can see from the images, the series are amazingly finished, looking sickly slick, the gloss finishes are just like glass. Three finishes are available: High Gloss Black, High Gloss Walnut and High Gloss Maroon.
The technologies used for the new EPIKORE series features the EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter – build from a 35 mm soft-dome tweeter and a HF planar element – this tech comes directly from the KORE series. Also, I mention here the SMC Gen-2 technology aimed at ultra-low distortion, custom made in-house drivers and Clarity Cone technology: the speaker cone is made from wood and paper fiber.
I must say that the series looks amazing, and I am especially in love with the bookshelf, the EPIKORE 3, this one is a 3-way stand-mount speaker, and it simply looks sexy! One of the nicest bookshelves I have seen lately!
The speakers in the EPIKORE series will be available this October and they cost high-end money: DALI EPIKORE 3 €9,999 /$15,000, DALI EPIKORE STAND €1,999 /$3,000, DALI EPIKORE 7 €19,000 /$25,000, DALI EPIKORE 9 €29,999 /$40,000 and DALI EPIKORE 11 is already available at €39,998 / $60,000.
