Cambridge Audio: The Past, the Future and a Few Tricky Questions

From pirate radio to owning one of Britain’s best-known HiFi brands, James Johnson-Flint certainly has a story to tell. During my recent visit to Cambridge Audio, I sat down with the man behind the company for an open, entertaining, and occasionally mischievous conversation about its past, present, and future. We discussed the rise of active loudspeakers, whether traditional HiFi systems are slowly disappearing, the realities of running an independent audio company, and a few subjects that may not have been fully approved by the marketing department.

James was funny, candid, and refreshingly passionate about music and this wonderfully mad industry of ours. Grab a drink, turn up the volume, and enjoy our HiFi Talk below.
